Find GitHub projects by describing what you need.
Type a requirement like "self-hosted kanban board with markdown support". Corch finds matching repositories, skips low-star projects, and ranks the rest by stars.
Sign in with GitHub- Read-only, public data. Corch asks GitHub for no extra permissions. It can't see your private repos or change anything.
- Your own quota. Searches run under your GitHub account's free search limit, so you aren't sharing it with other users.
- An API too. Create an API key and call the same search from your scripts.
API keys
Use a key to call the search API from scripts, apps or other servers. Searches made with a key use your GitHub search limit (30 per minute), the same as searching on this page.
Copy your new key now. For your security it won't be shown again.
| Name | Key | Created | Last used |
|---|
You don't have any keys yet.
Using the API
q | What you're looking for (required unless language is set). Up to 500 characters. |
language | Primary language, e.g. Python. |
min_stars | Skip projects with fewer stars. Default 100, minimum 10. |
include_archived | true to include archived projects. Default false. |
page, per_page | Pagination. per_page is 1–50, default 20. |
Results are always sorted by stars, highest first, and keyword-stuffed spam repositories are removed.
matchLevel tells you how results matched: all_keywords (every word),
key_terms_plus (all key terms and some descriptive words like "lightweight" or "library"),
key_terms (all key terms), or most_key_terms. Looser levels are only used when
fewer than 10 projects match every word.
Account
Deleting your account removes your keys and sessions, and revokes Corch's access to your GitHub account.
